didn't work out in large part because our lives were moving quickly in opposite directions and I really just didn't care about any HS stuff, because I was beyond it ....
so in that case the 6 months or so age gap made a world of difference I graduated college at 22 and wouldn't have thought to date a freshman ......
Statutory rape is sex by or with someone that's under the age of consent.
The age of consent is the age that they're legally allowed to consent to sex.
but if she's immature around your friends, they're gonna wonder why you couldn't get someone your age. Sorry you had to get all pissy about the answer lol. Focus on your perception of the delivery so you can completely ignore the content lol. Seems about right since you're the first one here indulging in an accurate assessment of your character (really on the verge of just what I would call an "adult") lol. I'm certain its too late for me to date 18year olds. In practical terms, not much difference between 23 and 25, but generally, there's a HUGE difference between 16 and 18. I don't care whether you made it up or whether some Wikipedia nuclear physicist came up with it after playing with his pocket protector. IT IS NOT ACTUALLY SCIENCE.6 / 2 = 3Add 7 years to that, and you get 10.
I keep it a secret cause a few don't like to be told anything restrictionist, no matter how weird, bad-apple, appalling or bad for grandpa. 23/2 = 11.5Add 7 years to that, and you get 18.5I'm telling you guys, you go with half your age plus 7. Yay for 10 year olds dating first graders.18 / 2 = 99 7 = 16Otherwise known as, a formula for statutory rape but probably not in your state.
and a young girl of 18 is so far away from that mind set. But honestly, is an 18 year old with a 16 year old REALLY that crazy?
mainly because a lot of the things I was into required 21 and there was a huge life experience level difference Now that i'm old, /- 5 years would still put me with someone who has a career and a similar standing in life and it would be zero issue If you can work through the life difference issues and are happy together then there is no issue just from the age gap If you want to make it serious - just understand that while the one person is starting their career, working year round and dealing with a whole slew of new experiences ......
There are also lots of destructive "lessons" being taught to the teens, by self-deluding twenty-etceteras.
In the main, I would say that mid twenties trying to mix with late teens, is the worst age gap.
Now we all know a 30 year old that targets 18 year olds is a bit strange but what about 25? Id class 18 as a kid and 25 as an adult, albeit a young adult. Hence, there is a very high percentage of mid-twenties serious people, having their hearts broken by fickle and flash-changing teens.
(you better answer yes) She doesn't need a 25 year old BOYfriend right now. Leave her be and let her start worrying about her future.(you SHOULD have the mentality and maturity now,at your age, to know better)When she turns 28,,,you'll be 35. Or are you just living your life, maybe going to parties, and you met someone you "connect" with and she happens to be 18? In practical terms, not much difference between 23 and 25, but generally, there's a HUGE difference between 16 and 18.
