The sourness of the tangerine is the note that stands above all else for me, fortunately tempered by the freesia. ), classic and timeless with a light bitter note lingering in the air.Would make an excellent deodorant, but as a perfume it doesn't stand out at all, but I got it as a gift and at least, I didn't have to pay for it. I used to spray this a lot on my clothes, about 20 sprays or so and reapply it later in the day because a lot of the reviews says here that it doesn't last long at all and yes I couldn't smell it at all. Femme Hugo bosse has a huge projection on my skin and enormous long lasting power. Some people say this perfume is simple, generic and so on, but for me the beauty of this scent hides in this simplicity. Like just made for those days you don't know what to wear, you are already tired of all your sophisticated perfume collection and all you want is to smell nice. Makes me think about a classic woman, about some kind of a stereotype -loving, caring, emotional, maybe a bit shy and romantic. Unfortunately the sillage and longevity are not the best. Nice and light perfume, but that's not enough for me to buy it. As the name suggests, this is an intensely feminine fragrance. At times when I don't know what to wear I reach for this.Everything in Femme land is oyster-pink and slightly diffuse, inhabited by sweet-natured women whose trust and gentleness is never exploited.I'm definitely not from there, but it's sometimes nice to be able to select a scent that conjures exactly this feminine, gentle image, especially as it's not one I naturally project.
When summer 2015 arrived I started to want to have it again and repurchased it. I find it very floral and a bit fruity, also with that “hugo boss” base that many of the house fragrances have.
It's surprisingly hard to find such a T-shirt, and I'm not going to complain to the manufacturer that it lacks design chutzpah, or isn't bohemian, or sultry, or severely chic. When I don't want to worry that my perfume will bloom in the heat, or be interpreted as old-fashioned, strange, or 'manly', I can just sling on this very conventional, modern and pleasant scent that almost everyone likes.
Really pleasant smelling fragrance- sort of romantic and whispy- very girly and demure- Nothing original though.
You do not see it mentioned often here, but it is a lovely floral, clean and simple. Fresh and tender, like a cool drop of dew rolling off a fuzzy pink rose petal, mixed with a soft aroma of sweet tangerine peel.
Feminine, summery, easy to wear if you are into modern florals with some fruits. But then...about half an hour later, it starts to smell kind of weird...someone below mentioned 'burnt skin'...yes, something like that, a very faint but detectable burnt-rubbery smell. This weird burnt note does not develop when I spray it on my clothes though (lasts ~5 hours on my clothes with decent soft-moderate sillage, perfect for summer), it stays clean and fruity-floral throughout, not in the typical girly way, but more feminine, tender, almost angelic.
